Get Ready for the Holiday Season

The holiday season – everyone loves being on a break once in a while or enjoys a day off, for example, on Independence Day. There are a few days around the year that allow you to spend them with your family or your friends or just by yourself. Generally speaking, there aren’t any national holidays in the United States. Each state decides on its own holidays, however, the federal government has publically announced the following 10 days as holidays for the people working for the federal government and the majority of the states copies the pattern:

New Year’s Day: January 1st
Martin Luther King Day: the third Monday in January
President’s Day: the third Monday in February
Memorial Day: the last Monday in May
Independence Day: July 4th
Labor Day: the first Monday in September
Columbus Day: the second Monday in October
Veterans Day: November 11th
Thanksgiving Day: the fourth Thursday in November
Christmas Day: December 25th

HR Studio presents a nicely organized calendar which displays the holidays as well as informs you about your colleagues’ vacation. You can find the calendar under the ‘Attendance’ tab. The calendar also lists the important dates in the company, i.e. the birthdays of your colleagues, the anniversary hire dates, sick time, etc.

Basically, this innovative tool keeps you in the loop and up to date with the latest company news and information. That is cool, isn’t it?
